AI Sales Calls: What the Machine Handles on the Phone
Short answer. On this page, AI sales calls means software that either speaks on a call as a voice agent, or listens to calls people make and records, transcribes and scores them. The 25 tools ranked here include both.
Leexi scores highest of the twenty-five tools on this ai sales calls grid, 8.8 on 30 tagged reviews, as a notetaker for calls and meetings. Convin, which lists an AI phone call agent, is second at 8.7.

Beyond the scores
The sections below first separate voice agents from call analysis, compare what the analysis tools capture, then read the dialers and phone systems in the table, and end with what the tools list for phone compliance.
This page ranks voice agents and call analysis tools together
Some tools here listen to calls that people make; others list an AI that speaks on a call. Convin lists an AI phone call agent that runs calls 24/7, next to automated QA scoring of every conversation, and its evidence is 81 tagged reviews. MeetGeek lists a voice agent that can take calls on your behalf, and its 7.6 rests on no tagged reviews, so it equals the site average.
Scoring tools sit on the other side. Modjo lists AI call scoring against your sales playbooks, with 12 tagged reviews behind its score. Salesken lists real-time cues during sales calls and automated scoring of every call, with 10 tagged reviews. The table also holds dialers and phone systems, covered below. A score here says how reviewers rate a tool, not how many calls an AI places.
Call analysis tools differ in what they capture and score
Gong captures conversations, emails and meetings automatically and lists an AI call reviewer that scores calls; it scores 7.4 on 46 tagged reviews, and its support quality scores 5.5 on 6 tagged reviews. Demodesk lists call recording across video, phone, in-person and field channels, with two-way sync to Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive, and rests on 7 tagged reviews.
Mindtickle adds AI role plays, where a bot acts as the buyer, to call scoring and manager coaching; speed and performance draws 15 negative mentions, and the tool rests on 8 tagged reviews. Allego pairs conversation intelligence with AI role play, and learning curve draws 27 negative mentions for it.
Dialers and phone systems place the calls, and their prices differ
Close puts its power dialer on the Growth plan at $109 per user a month, billed monthly, and its predictive dialer on the Scale plan. Apollo includes its dialer from the Basic plan, $65 per seat a month, billed monthly, and rests on 104 tagged reviews. Kixie lists a multi-line power dialer that dials up to 4 leads at a time; its caller ID reputation draws 14 mentions, 12 of them negative.
RingCentral lists call recording on demand, with unlimited phone calls limited to the US and Canada, and rests on 7 tagged reviews. Nextiva lists progressive and predictive dialing on its Professional contact center plan, sold by quote; its 7.6 rests on no tagged reviews, so it equals the site average.
Phone compliance: what the tools list and what this page leaves out
This page does not state telephone law. So it says nothing on consent, call recording or telling a prospect that a voice is an AI, and no score here measures them. What the vendors' pages do list is narrower. Kixie, which scores 6.5 on 51 tagged reviews, lists a compliance add-on for Do Not Call registries. Observe.AI lists voice AI agents and redaction of PII, PCI and PHI in audio and transcripts, and scores 7.6 with no tagged reviews. Dialpad lists PII redaction on its Essentials plan, at $49 per user a month, billed monthly. These listings describe features, not whether a given call is lawful.
Before you choose
A voice agent speaks on the call itself, while an analysis tool listens to calls that people make and scores them. On this page, Convin, MeetGeek and Observe.AI list voice agents, while Modjo, Salesken and Gong list call scoring.
This page does not rule on that: it ranks tools by review-based scores and by what their pages list, and it does not state telephone law. It reads what each tool lists, not how a law classes a call.
This page does not state that rule: disclosure belongs to telephone law, which the page does not cover. It compares what the tools list, not what the law requires.
This page does not rank tools on that. Convin and Observe.AI list voice agents, but this page reads no listing that says either one qualifies a lead before a rep joins, so it makes no claim about it.
Some do. Modjo lists AI CRM filling after every call, Salesken lists call summaries logged in the CRM, and Otter.ai lists transcripts and notes logged to HubSpot or Salesforce.
This page cannot say: no score here measures coaching results. The tools list different things: Dialpad lists Listen In and Barge In for managers to coach reps, and Convin lists automated agent coaching, including peer-to-peer coaching.
