About Prospecting Manual
What this site covers, who writes it, and how we evaluate the tools we recommend.
Who We Are
An independent resource for B2B outbound practitioners
Prospecting Manual is an independent content site built for the people running outbound sales: SDRs, revenue operations leads, agency founders, and growth teams deciding which tools to buy, configure, and scale.
We are not affiliated with any software vendor. No tool pays to be featured, ranked higher, or reviewed favorably. Affiliate commissions, where they exist, are disclosed on every page that contains them.
What We Cover
Seven clusters, one focus: outbound go-to-market
The site is organized into seven content clusters. Each cluster covers a distinct layer of the outbound stack.
Within each cluster, we publish tool reviews, head-to-head comparisons, buying guides, workflow SOPs, troubleshooting articles, and decision pages for specific buyer profiles. Every page targets a real search query and a real decision a practitioner needs to make.
How We Evaluate Tools
Reviews follow a consistent, operator-grounded framework
Every tool review covers the same core dimensions: actual feature set, pricing structure, ideal customer profile, known limitations, and how the tool fits into a broader outbound stack. We do not publish review scores without documented rationale.
We rely on publicly verified product information, published pricing pages, and hands-on evaluation notes. When a fact cannot be confirmed from a primary source, we say so. We do not invent capabilities, pricing tiers, or integration behaviors.
Affiliate Relationships
We earn commissions on some links. Editorial decisions are independent.
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you purchase a tool through one of those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence rankings, review scores, or editorial coverage.
Any page containing an affiliate link carries a visible disclosure. Tools without affiliate programs are reviewed on the same criteria as those with them. A tool we do not earn from can and does appear as a top recommendation when the data supports it.
Content Freshness
We update pages when tools change, not on a fixed publishing calendar
Outbound tools ship pricing changes, deprecate features, and launch new plans frequently. We monitor covered tools and update review and comparison pages when material changes occur. Each page displays the last verified date so you know how current the information is.
